Hi, I'm Sonia.

Drawing on a career spent in the nonprofit sector, I have witnessed firsthand how meaningful partnerships are built and how philanthropic investment can translate into lasting public good.

My work has spanned arts and culture, conservation, music, theater, education, civic and social services, and public space revitalization. While each mission is different, they all share a common challenge: articulating a compelling vision, developing a thoughtful plan, and bringing together the right people and resources to create lasting impact.

Through Brighter Banks, I work with philanthropists and nonprofit leaders to connect people, ideas, and opportunities. Depending on the need, I might help shape a giving strategy, build a case for support, coach a board or executive team, or project manage a public-private partnership. At its heart, my work is about creating clarity and cohesion for evolving organizations, and intention and vision for purposeful philanthropy.
